A few useful things.
Do I need to book?
For breakfast and lunch, no. We keep the kitchen open all day and there are always tables. For the Sunday roast, yes, please book by the Friday. For groups of eight or more, please give us a heads-up.
Can I reserve a loaf?
Yes. Send us a WhatsApp or an email the day before, telling us which loaf and when you're coming. We'll keep it under the counter with your name on it.
Do you do takeaway?
Yes. Most of the lunch menu travels well in our compostable boxes. The pies are designed to come home with you.
Do you do catering?
Yes, within reason. We can do bread baskets, pie boxes, ploughman's platters and the cake table, all collected from us. We don't do off-site cooked menus. For a quote, email the kitchen.
What about dietary requirements?
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on the menu (look for the tags). Tell us when you order if you have a specific need. Most things can be adapted, but our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts and seeds daily.
Do you ship?
Not yet. Everything is for sale over the counter. We are looking at a small online pantry for next year. Sign up for the newsletter if you want first dibs.
Are tour buses welcome?
Yes, with notice. We need a week to scale the kitchen up for a coach group. Phone or email and we'll put together a set menu.
Is the building wheelchair-accessible?
Yes. Ramp at the entrance, one level throughout and a wheelchair-accessible toilet at the back of the kitchen.
