Nine kilometres of unbroken Indian-ocean beach, fifteen minutes on foot. Quiet on weekdays even in season.
A short drive inland brings you to a handful of small Garden Route cellars. We are happy to organise a private tasting.
Five lakes connect through the Wilderness National Park. Hire a canoe at the Ebb & Flow rest camp and drift through the reed beds.
Half an hour east, the lagoon town of Knysna is best done on a slow Tuesday. Oysters at Thesen Islands, then up to the Heads for the view.
On Sundays we host an unhurried lunch in the garden when guests want it: bread from the oven, what came out of the garden that morning.
