The Marula Suite

Our flagship suite, under thatch with its own plunge pool.

The Marula Suite is the lodge at its most generous: a free-standing thatch suite raised on a timber deck above a dry riverbed, where elephant pass below in the dry months. A four-poster bed draped in mosquito netting sits under a soaring thatch ceiling, with sliding doors that open the whole front of the room to the bush.

The bathroom runs indoors to out, a deep stone bath inside and a hot outdoor shower under the trees. A private plunge pool and a shaded sala complete the deck, the place most guests end up spending the hours between the morning and afternoon drives.
