Kloof Sauvignon Blanc
Vintage 2024
Cool-climate Sauvignon from the high block.
The Kloof block sits at 340 metres above sea level on the southern slope, where the south-easter off False Bay reaches us most afternoons. It is the coolest piece of land we have and our Sauvignon is all the better for it.
Picked at first light over two mornings in early February. Whole-bunch pressed, fermented cold in stainless, aged on the gross lees for four months. Bottled in May.
Tasting notes
Cut grass, gooseberry, a flick of green pepper. Bright, focused, with a saline, mineral finish.
